New Look

As you can see, our blog has a new look! I thought it was time to brighten up for the summer months... that is, if we're ever going to have summer!

My family's visit was a lot of fun and we're so glad they came! We took them sightseeing most days, going to the beach, visiting a lighthouse, touring an air museum, driving up in the mountains around Mt. Hood and the lovely Columbia River Gorge. We took many pictures and I have posted a number of them on Facebook. Go here to view.

Yesterday we celebrated our nine-month anniversary. :) (Yes, we celebrate by the month!) Andrew took me out to eat and we had a lovely afternoon relaxing together. How I love being married to Andrew. He's the very bestest.

Last Saturday we marched with the Civil War reenactor group in Portland's Starlight Parade. You can vaguely see us in the following clip. Andrew is the tall fifer on the right and you can see me at the very end of the clip as they zoom out for a group shot. I'm on the right of the group, wearing a light skirt and a black vest.
